Jokes and riddles that contain a pun—a play on words—can challenge the mind and make you laugh. The humor comes from the play on a word that has several meanings.  Try to create your own joke using a multiple meaning word or try some of the words below:

Let’s take a break from reading this week!

  1. Complete one multiple meaning word page.  If you don’t have a printer, just use any paper you can find.
2.  Play a game with someone in your house.  Some good ideas are Apples to Apples, Guess Who, Life, Clue, Battleship, Scattergories.  If
you don’t have one of these, just choose a game where you need to communicate with other players.
