At the start of the 2024-2025 school year, Cranbury School began the process of building a Strategic Plan to guide and design the future of our school community over the next five years.  This process launched with the Cranbury School Town Hall Conversation held in October 2024, wherein members of the school community and the community-at-large learned about our district goals, construction updates, strategic planning and equity. Targeted questions will be asked of those in attendance and later shared with the broader school and Cranbury community, as well as a video recording of the event.

Since the Town Hall Conversation event, the overall Cranbury community, as well as current and former parents, staff and students have had the opportunity to provide feedback via a survey regarding our curriculum and activities offered to our students, the culture and climate within our school, our use of technology, professional development efforts and school safety and security, amongst other topics. The results will be culled and formulated into areas of strength, growth and things to consider.  This information will be presented to the community in the Spring.

Our Mission

The Cranbury School, the heart of our community, offers every student an opportunity to shine. We inspire each other to build lives of intellectual curiosity and purpose.  While learning timeless skills, students develop character and confidence to lead by example in and diverse and changing world.

Our Vision

Cranbury School, the heart of the community, is a safe and empowering home where everyone belongs, fostering individual growth, achievement, and the development of empathetic change-makers.

Core Values

We believe…

  • Optimal learning occurs when students and staff feel safe and welcome.
  • Every student has unique intellectual, social, emotional and physical strengths that should be encouraged.
  • Each child deserves a program that fosters growth, accounts for learning differences and sparks curiosity.
  • Instruction must be relevant and appropriately challenging for each student.
  • Excellence requires integrity, commitment, empathy and resilience.
  • A technology-enriched, comprehensive curriculum prepares students for a competitive global society.
  • Extra-curricular activities are vital to a student’s education, instilling a culture of creativity, teamwork, sportsmanship, and leadership.
  • Students should demonstrate initiative and use their voice to actively engage in their learning and community.
  • Students become productive citizens when provided experiences that foster an awareness and appreciation  of diversity and social responsibility.
  • Open communication and collaboration between students, staff and the Cranbury community help us challenge each other to advance learning and personal development.
