Cranbuddies Integrated Pre-School Program

The Cranbury School District offers two integrated pre-school programs for the 2021-2022 school year.


Three-year-old typically developing children
are welcome to attend the Cranbuddies Pre-school Program on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings from 8:45 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. The three-year-old class also includes children who require a special education program.  The class is taught by a teacher certified for Early Childhood Development and Special Education and a teacher assistant. Five typically developing children will be accepted into the morning program.  In order to be considered for acceptance, a child must be a Cranbury resident and eligible for Kindergarten in September 2023.

four-year-old program will meet five afternoons a week from 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. The class is taught by a teacher certified for Early Childhood Development and Special Education, and a teacher assistant. Four typically developing children will be accepted into the program, which also includes children who require a special education program. In order to be considered for acceptance, a child must be a Cranbury resident and eligible for Kindergarten in September 2022.


Transportation for the typically developing children is the responsibility of the parent; however, subscription busing is offered. Please contact the transportation department for more information at (609) 395-1700, Ext. 223.

Open House on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 via Zoom. If you are interested in attending the Zoom session, please email Gloria Hibbs at ghibbs@cranburyschool.org. A link will be provided to you. Follow up information will be sent to parents who participate in the Zoom session.

Parents of pre-schoolers who may be in need of special education services are also encouraged to contact the Child Study Team for further information regarding the pre-school program. The program is available to eligible special needs pre-schoolers at no cost to the parent and transportation is provided.
