Cranbuddies Integrated Pre-School Program
Cranbuddies 2023-2024
The Cranbury School District will be offering one integrated 4-year old preschool program for the 2023-2024 school year and acceptance is based on a lottery.
The Cranbuddies program will meet five afternoons a week from 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. The class is taught by a teacher certified for Early Childhood Development and Special Education and a teacher assistant. In order to be eligible to enter the lottery, a child must be a Cranbury resident and eligible for Kindergarten in 2024. Kindergarten eligibility means your child must be five years old before October 1, 2024.
Transportation for the typically developing children is the responsibility of the parent; however, subscription busing is offered. Please contact the transportation department for more information at (609) 395-1700, Ext. 223.
Completed lottery applications and deposit are due back to school no later than March 31st, 2023. Lottery results will be sent out in late April.
Parents of pre-schoolers who may be in need of special education services are also encouraged to contact the Child Study Team for further information regarding the pre-school program. The program is available to eligible special needs pre-schoolers at no cost to the parent and transportation is provided. For additional information, please call the Child Study Team office at (609) 395-1700, Ext. 232.
Currently, due to special education needs, there will be no 3-year old, morning, integrated program. Should needs change, you can put your name with Holly Restucci ([email protected]) and you will be contacted if the morning program changes over the summer.
Parents, if you have questions that your child may be eligible for special education and related services, please refer to the Child Find page found here.
