Cranbuddies Integrated Pre-School Program
The Cranbury School District offers two integrated preschool programs for the 2018-2019 school year.
Three-year-old typically developing children are welcome to attend the Cranbuddies program on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings from 8:45 a.m. to 11:15 a.m.
The three-year-old class also includes children who require a special education program. The class is taught by a teacher certified for Early Childhood Development and Special Education and a teacher assistant. Four typically developing children will be accepted into the morning program. In order to be considered for acceptance, a child must be a Cranbury resident and eligible for kindergarten in September 2020.
The Cranbuddies four-year-old program will meet five afternoons a week from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. The class is taught by a teacher certified for Early Childhood Development and Special Education and a teacher assistant. Eight typically developing children will be accepted into the program, which also includes children with special needs.
In order to be considered for acceptance, a child must be a Cranbury resident and eligible for kindergarten in September 2019. If your child is a current 3-year-old general education student in the Cranbuddies program and you would like for him/her to participate in the 4-year-old program, parents are required to complete and submit an application for the 4-year-old program.
Transportation for the typically developing children is the responsibility of the parent; however, subscription busing is offered. Please contact the Transportation Department for more information at (609) 395-1700, Extension 223.
