School Hours - Regular Day, Shortened Day, Early Dismissal

REGULAR SCHOOL DAYS

Student Arrival                          8:00 a.m. to 8:25 a.m.

Cranbury School Hours            8:30 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.

Main Office Hours                     8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

 

DELAYED  OPENINGS

In the event of a delayed opening due to weather or other conditions, school will open at 10:25 a.m., and school will start at 10:30 a.m. (TWO HOURS LATER THAN USUAL).

All Cranbury bus students—elementary, vocational, and special education will be picked up two hours later than usual.

All Princeton High students will be picked up (90) minutes later than usual even if Princeton has a regular opening.

 

EARLY CLOSING

In the event of an early closing, the School Messenger will be activated, and parents will receive phone calls and e-mails.  Parents are advised to make arrangements in case of emergency closing with neighbors or friends if no one is home during the day.

 

EMERGENCY CLOSINGS (E.G. SNOW DAYS)

In the event of an emergency school closing when there will be no school at all, the School Messenger will contact all families via phone and e-mail.  In addition, parents may call the school or check the Web site for school closing information.  Be sure all contact information is updated in the Main Office.

These announcements are usually made between 5:00 and 7:00 a.m.

Whenever Cranbury School is closed, buses serving Cranbury will not be in service.  This includes vocational, special education and high school students.
