Speech and Language Development Program

The Speech and Language Development Program provides comprehensive speech and language services to students in preschool through eighth grade in accordance with the New Jersey Department of Education rules and regulations.

Consultative, diagnostic, and intervention services are provided to students who demonstrate difficulty with articulation, voice, fluency and the understanding and use of oral language and who meet the specified eligibility criteria.  Parents and teachers can make referrals to the program by contacting one of the district speech and language specialists.
