About Me

I absolutely LOVE teaching math in Cranbury! I feel very fortunate to be doing what I love and to be working with such a talented and dedicated group of teachers and staff. It is an absolute joy to go to work every day.

Here's a little about me!

I grew up in Plainsboro and attended the WWP school district. I majored in Elementary Education and Math at The College of New Jersey and was extremely fortunate to be hired by the Cranbury School District a few days after my graduation! I started as a medical leave replacement in the 3rd grade. In March of 2005, I was moved to the 1st grade to assist in the initiation of the Four Blocks literacy program. And in the fall of 2005 I started my first year as a middle school math teacher. Over the years I have choreographed the spring musical, co-created and performed with the Kranberry Kuties, coached the MathCounts Team, and so much more!

In 2010, I completed my Masters in Educational Technology. I also acquired my supervisor certificate from Rutgers University in 2012. I further continued my education by taking graduate level Educational Technology classes through the University of Phoenix in 2015 and 2016. I love learning the latest trends in technology and trying them out in my classroom. I consider myself a life long learner and I look forward to further continuing my education in a few years. However, for the time being, my role as Alex and Chris's mom is taking up all of my free time. :)

I'm looking forward to a great year!
