About Me

Welcome to Mrs. Tarantino's Super Second Grade Webpage:)

A little about myself:

I graduated with a B.A. in Elementary Education with a minor in psychology from Kean University. I earned my Masters of Educational Technology from Ramapo University. I received my supervisor certificate from Rutgers University. I have been in the teaching profession for 30 years. I have taught all grades K-5. I live in Cranbury with my husband, children and my Pembroke Welsh Corgi. Both my children went through the Cranbury and Princeton School System. I am trained in Responsive Classroom. This is an evidence-based approach to education that focuses on the strong relationship between academic success and social-emotional learning. I believe that all children are individual and learn in their own unique way. It is my mission to create a safe, joyful, and engaging learning community where all students have a sense of belonging and feel significant.
