A "Living Yearbook" for the 2018-2019 School Year

Dear Families,

As we all settle in to the 2018-2019 School Year, I would like to introduce to you a beautiful mural painted outside of the cafeteria for all to enjoy!

The mural will serve as a “living yearbook” in which twenty plexiglass frames are affixed to the wall that will showcase student and community life throughout the year.  Just as the leaves on the tree are all different, so is every child, teacher, staff member, and community member who makes up Cranbury Township. The roots and trunk of the tree are symbolic of the strong foundation all of us provide for our students through our partnerships, teachings, guidance, and unconditional support. The variation in shading throughout the mural reflects the diversity of perspectives and identities in our student body and community.

We are excited to have the opportunity to capture special moments and events as they occur, with the help of the student yearbook committee leading the way.

As we begin the new school year, I speak for all of our outstanding staff members when I say that we look forward to welcoming everyone back to school as we remain steadfast in our commitment to helping every child achieve their personal best.

We are eager to see how they will “bloom where they are planted” within the walls of the Cranbury School, the “heart” of our community. Thank you to Mrs. Crannage for creating this symbol of our district values.

Best regards,

Susan L. Genco, Ed. D.
