Cranbury School Kindness Club Presents Café for a Cause

On Friday, April 26th, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. in the Cranbury School Cafeteria, students and faculty members will showcase their talents in a "coffeehouse style" performance event to benefit Childhood Leukemia Foundation, a foundation that helps to "increase self-esteem, and give children the opportunity to have fun experiences and be better able to cope with cancer" (clf4kids.org). Audience members will be treated to vocal and instrumental music, stand up comedy, and poetry readings, and will have the opportunity to purchase student and faculty works of visual art.

A $5.00 suggested donation will be requested at the door and a student-run bake sale will be held throughout the evening ( all items $1.00). In addition, there will be a Silent Art Auction with pieces donated by Cranbury School students and adults.  These pieces of art will have a starting bid of $5.00 each. This past February, Kindness Club members completed research and learned about Childhood Leukemia Foundation and how this organization helps children with cancer. Through this fundraiser, we hope to help many more children.   The student leaders in Kindness Club have been working many hours to prepare for the event!  All students and their families are invited to attend this event for a great cause!  We extend our thanks to Kindness Club advisors Nichole Ball and Laura Burke and members of the Kindness Club for coordinating this event.
