About Me

Mrs. Kaplan has an undergraduate degree in Elementary Education from Hofstra University, a Masters Degree in Special Education from Trenton State College and a Supervisor Certificate from Seton Hall University.  She also pursued additional credits from University of Phoenix to keep updated on the latest information and technology. She started teaching at Cranbury School as a middle school Special Education teacher in 1997.  She left in 2008 after having twin daughters. Upon her return in Sept. 2010, she taught 4th grade resource center and in class resource and has returned to the middle school teaching 6th grade in class resource in math, science and social studies.  She teaches replacement English and study skills as well.


When not in school, Mrs. Kaplan enjoys family time.  That includes bike riding, time at the pool and beach (weather permitting), game nights and movie nights.
