STUDENTS BENEFIT

The PTO donates academic, technological and facility resources that support our students’ education and helptomaintainourschool’sexcellence. Parent involvement in PTO volunteer opportunities ensures our children reap the benefits of those resources. When parents get involved, good things happen! Research shows that more parental involvement results in children’s better school performance.

PTO EVENTS

The PTO organizes, funds and executes the following fun activities for all children in our school:

• Assemblies for students, three annually including one for the Week of Respect and an author assembly
• Book Swap
• Career Day assembly and speaker lunches
• Classroom Celebrations & Parties for holidays and end-of-year
• English as a Second Language (ESL) food & activities for family social
• Family Fun Activities such as Pumpkin Night and Spaghetti Dinner
• Field Day inflatable, assembly, student treat and teacher lunch
• Ice Cream Social for all families during the Art Show
• Ice Cream Treat for students during Spirit Week
• Lunch & Recess Volunteers
• Middle School Dances and Jamfest Game Nights
• New Student Orientation hosting
• Schoolwide Scholastic Book Fair
• School Picture Days for all students and staff

PTO FINANCIAL CONTRIBUTIONS

The PTO regularly makes purchases for and donations to our school. Some notable contributions include:

• 8th Grade Dance Photo Booth

• Homework Folders supplied for all students
• In-Classroom Libraries
• Mini-Grants available upon request by any teacher for special classroom projects

OPT-OUT PROGRAM

We want to focus on our students and not on selling magazine subscriptions, coupon books, cookie dough or wrapping paper!

The Opt-Out is a donation to the Cranbury School PTO which is separate from the annual dues. It is a tax-deductible contribution of any dollar amount that enables us to eliminate the need for all those traditional fundraising sales, but still helps us have the funds to support so many amazing school programs. One hundred percent of your Opt-Out contribution goes directly toward supporting activities and events for the children throughout the school year.
