My name is Amanda Love. I have been working with children in a school setting for 18 years. I graduated from Kean University with my BA in Early Childhood Education (P-3) with a Teaching Students with Disabilities endorsement.
I was a Paraprofessional for a number of years for Edison Township in their aftercare setting. I was a lead teacher for toddlers at a Goddard School in NJ, where my love for teaching Pre-k had begun. I created and implemented a number of lessons for each day based on New Jersey state standards. I love being able to help children grow and learn, it really is something that I am passionate about. I love helping young minds build the foundations and interest in their education.
I love being outside and often use nature in my lessons. I feel it is important for students to have hands on experiences with what they are learning. I enjoy finding a shady spot in a park and lay down on a blanket with a book. I find it fun to be active in nature too, so I often go camping and hiking. I spend the rest of my free time with my family, enjoying one another's company.
I look forward to teaching your children this year and helping them learn and grow. Please feel free to contact me via email with any questions or concerns. We are all in this together and I am here for your children and you.
