Meet The Elementary School Counselor!
Hi! I'm Krista, Elementary School Counselor at Cranbury School. This is my second year at Cranbury School and it has been wonderful getting to know the students and families of our community! I work with our kindergarten through fifth grade students on academic, personal, and social-emotional development. My goal is to help children grow into confident learners and develop positive character values and life skills.
I received a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from East Stroudsburg University. From there, I attended Kean University where I received a Master’s Degree in Counseling. I am grateful that my journey has led me to Cranbury School. I have an adventurous border collie who keeps me busy in my free time! I also love to exercise, watch movies, and learn new recipes to cook.
As the elementary counselor, it is important for me to connect with and provide continuous support to my students and families. This year, I am facilitating classroom lessons on social-emotional learning, collaborating with Mrs. Fulton on our weekly Counselor Corner Newsletter, and serving as a Wingman Champion to our school’s Wingman Program. I am also Cranbury School's Intervention and Referral Services (I&RS) Coordinator. Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions you may have. I am looking forward to another great year!
