About Me

My name is Kelly Oake, and I have been teaching at Cranbury School for 13 years. I live in Cranbury with my husband Roy and daughters Raegan and Erica.

I have a Masters + 30 in teaching and a Bachelor of Science in marketing. I worked in advertising and product development in the toy and table top industries prior to becoming a teacher. My niece, who was born with developmental delays, and her teachers were my inspiration for going back to school and switching careers to become a teacher. I am a Wilson Reading System certified practitioner and have training in Fundations Levels K-2.

I enjoy sailing and horseback riding in my free time. I serve as Secretary of the Pineland Rider's Pony Club. Pony Club in a non-profit organization whose mission is to develop character, leadership, confidence, and sense of community in youth through teaching the care of horses and ponies, riding, and mounted sports.

I look forward to spending the next year teaching, learning, and growing with you and your child. Although we are starting the year in very unprecedented circumstances, I assure you we will get through this together.
