About Me

Hi! I’m Mrs. Sharon D'Amore. I have been teaching since 2000 and have been at Cranbury School since 2005. I earned my B.S. in Elementary Education (K-8) from The Pennsylvania State University and M.A. in Special Education (K-12) from Rider University. I am highly qualified in middle school math, social studies, and English.  I enjoy learning and am committed to finding ways to further my knowledge of technology, learning strategies, and the brain to help me support all students. Over the years, I have taught all subjects to 2nd, 3rd, 6th, 7th, and 8th graders, but have focused solely on the 8th grade curriculum and transition to high school in more recent years. I believe that all students want to succeed; it’s just a matter of teaching them how to focus their effort over time- learning is never “finished”!

On a personal note, I reside in Flourtown, PA with my husband and three sons- Anthony, Nicholas, and Luca. Our schedule is always full between family and friend events. On weekends, you can find our family enjoying local parks, playing seasonal sports, or just hanging around our house. If I had more “me time” you could find me drinking hot coffee and reading in a comfy chair, however I’ve learned to settle for listening to podcasts or watching videos while exercising.
