About Me

I am so grateful and thrilled to be a member of Team Social Studies at Cranbury School! I feel incredibly fortunate to have such a rewarding career, phenomenal students, and a supportive family of colleagues, and am thankful that I've been able to grow as a teacher and learner over the past decade.

I grew up in a small town in Southern New Jersey and graduated from The College of New Jersey where I studied History, Secondary Education, and Art/Art History. I began teaching 6th-8th grade Social Studies at Cranbury School in 2007. I knew Cranbury would be my teaching home even before I graduated, and it has truly always felt like home to me. Our amazing community of fellow teachers, students, and families makes Cranbury School a wonderful place to work. I love the challenge of education, which drives me to continue learning and growing professionally so that I can help all students recognize and reach their full potential. I hope to use Social Studies as a vehicle through which students find their place in the beautiful story of humanity, and to inspire them to grow into lifelong learners who will use their talents and passions to help others and better our world.

I live in West Windsor with my husband, son (9), daughter (6), and miniature Dachshund (13 in dog years). Although my roles as mom and teacher don't leave much free time, I like to fill the time I do have with exercise, cooking, and visiting new places with my family!
