Wingman Movement

Wingman is a unique youth-led social and emotional learning program designed to embed lasting positive qualities in participants through building stronger and more resilient communities. Dylan’s Wings of Change is a foundation established to honor the memory of Dylan Hockley, who was killed at Sandy Hook Elementary School. This leadership movement inspires children to go above and beyond to create inclusive environments within their school. Wingman promotes empathy and compassion.

Cranbury School is one of the first New Jersey schools to implement Wingman. We have been running Wingman since 2018 and it's made up of several student leaders in both 7th and 8th grade. The student leaders run activities and lessons pertaining to social and emotional learning in both the elementary and middle school to help boost a positive school climate and inclusion. This movement has helped promote positivity throughout our school, and we are proud to be a part of this profound movement.
