The purpose of the Cranbury Special Education Parent Advisory
    Group is to provide input to the district on issues concerning
    students with disabilities.

 


   Wed, May 28th 7-9pm CHADD of Princeton-Mercer County's final meeting will focus on the topic of Succeeding in Life with AD/HD.                 At 7pm we will screen the CHADD Conference Video entitled " Struggling in School, And Succeeding in Life"    

             At 7:45 we will host a panel discussion featuring prominent local adults who have    succeeded in Life despite early challenges with AD/HD and Learning Differences. Please bring your children, your spouses, your grandparents, and your caretakers so everyone can see that there is a "Light at the end of the Tunnel".

Thursday, May 8th  7:30 pm Evening Support Group for Adults:
     The Adult Support Group will meet on Thursday, May 8th from 7:30-8:30 at the Princeton Public Library.  The Facilitator is Norma Svedosh.  Cell 609 216 0441 Email nsvedosh@gmail.com for more information .  For those of you, who are attending for the first time, just go to the help desk on the second floor and they will tell you the room number.
Other News - CHADD on the Road- our visits to TCNJ and Montgomery   Wednesday, April 30, 2008:   The College of New Jersey Jane Milrod and Katherine McGavern (Bio's below) will be conducting an in-service educational session on AD/HD to a graduating group of Student Teachers.
                                                      
Tuesday, May 6, 2008 Montgomery School Special Education PTO Topic:  Executive Function- Description of the core aspects of this cognitive brain process.  We will be explaining the link between deficits in executive function and struggles in school.  In addition, we will discuss strategies for parents and teachers  to use with children and students in order to improve executive functioning  and to foster success in school.  

  Speaker Bios:  Jane Milrod, Founding Director of Princeton-Mercer County CHADD, Certified Parent to Parent Teacher, and AD/HD Academic Coach for Children, Teens and College students. 

Katherine McGavern ,founding Board member of Princeton -Mercer County CHADD, Certified Parent to Parent Teacher, Graduate of Fast Track Coach Training, and AD/HD Coach for Older teens, College Students and Adults.
